Since our practice launched in the 1980s, we’ve been a family-run opticians in the heart of the local community. As an independent, we’re committed to giving the residents of Petts Wood and the surrounding area high-quality eye care with a friendly face. Everyone is welcome and we are set up to offer eyecare to people of all ages.
Our Services
As an independent opticians, we of course offer standard eye exams, including NHS eye tests for those who are eligible. Keeping up with the latest technology to give our patients the best service is important to us, so we also offer OCT scans as an extra for your eye exam.
For glasses-wearers, we have a large range of designer frames on offer and our team is always happy to use their expertise to help you choose the best frames to suit your budget, looks and lifestyle.
If you prefer contact lenses, we supply several brands and offer consultations to ensure we find the best type to suit your needs. If you haven’t tried contacts before or have previously been told they’re unsuitable, we urge you to try again as there are now lenses to suit even complex prescriptions.
We are also the only opticians in the area offering ortho-k lenses, which can correct short-sightedness during the night, meaning you don’t need to wear glasses or contacts during the day. These specialist lenses are also suitable for slowing the progression of myopia in children.

We’re always on the lookout for the latest trends and technology to ensure we are giving our patients the most comprehensive service we can. Our frames collection includes new season fashions as well as timeless styles that will always be in fashion.
We will soon be introducing dry eye treatment as we’ve discovered by talking to our patients that it is a service that would be beneficial.
